In 2007, we established ourselves as a new women's club team in the San Francisco Bay Area, comprised of the best current college players and recent graduates from each of the four Bay Area Section college teams: Stanford, Berkeley, Davis, and Santa Cruz. We also have a few stellar additions from other well-respected college programs. In our inaugural season, we finished 5th in the Northwest Region.
We have key players from the 2003-2007 UPA College Women's Championship teams; Callahan nominees; All-Region players; current, former, and future college captains; sick defenders; big huckers; and some of the best receivers in the college game. But more than these individual talents and accomplishments, we have a strong sense of team and a willingness to lay it all on the line for each other. We believe that our cohesiveness and our dedication to one another, in addition to our athleticism, talent, and hard work are going to make us an exciting team to watch in the coming years.
